Jeffersonian Brass Rain Gauge

Description

Timeless Art-Piece Adds Sophistication and Purpose to Outdoor Spaces

Inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s inventive spirit, this rain gauge blends sophisticated design with practical use. Using a float-and-lever mechanism, it measures up to 7 inches of rainfall in precise 2/10″ increments. As rain fills the glass vial, the red float rises, moving the steel arm up the scale for an easy-to-read display.

Crafted from solid brass, glass, aluminum, and stainless steel, this durable gauge resists peeling, flaking, or rusting, developing a beautiful patina over time. Its sturdy base allows versatile installation on a deck, ground, or 4×4 post, making it an excellent choice for gardens or elevated spaces. Designed to last for years, this rain gauge is both functional and decorative.
